WWM is a firm of trial lawyers dedicated to doing the best job we can for our clients. We handle a wide variety of matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, other job-related disputes, insurance matters and civil rights. Our work ranges from representing our clients in pre-litigation matters, at trial and, where necessary, on appeal. Our background speaks for itself. The principals of WWM are Roger G. Williams, Kenneth H. Molberg and John B. Wilson, who is now "of counsel" to the firm. Roger Williams has been board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1983. A graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law, Mr. Williams is a former president of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and is currently a director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He is an associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, whose membership standards are among the highest of any legal organization that acknowledges excellence and experience in trial practice. He has served as the president of the local chapter of the organization. Mr. Williams is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Dallas Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Bar Association of the Fifth Circuit. He is admitted to practice before all Texas courts, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Martindale-Hubbell has given Mr. Williams its highest rating (a.v.), and he is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" under the category of Personal Injury Litigation. In 2003 he was named one of the state's 500 "super lawyers" in Personal Injury Litigation by "Texas Monthly" magazine and by Law & Politics Media, and one of the top 55 general personal injury practitioners on both sides of the Bar in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. He has served as Special Assistant Disciplinary Counsel to the Texas Commission on Lawyer Discipline. Mr. Williams, who is also a certified public accountant, has tried and otherwise handled countless personal injury and wrongful death actions, at the trial level and on appeal. Ken Molberg graduated from SMU Law School. While there, he served as Managing Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal, now the SMU Law Review, and was a member of The Barristers. With more than 20 years of legal experience, he is an associate of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, a director of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, and a long-time director (and now director emeritus) of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He is a founding member of the Texas Employment Lawyers Association and currently serves as the President of the organization. He also belongs to the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Texas Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Bar Association of the Fifth Circuit, the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Dallas-Fort Worth Employment Lawyers Association. Mr. Molberg is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. For many years he has held an "a.v." rating–the highest given–from Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been listed for more than a decade under the category of Labor and Employment Law in the book "The Best Lawyers in America." In 2001 and 2003, he was named one of the best labor and employment lawyers in Dallas by "D Magazine." In 2003, "Texas Monthly" magazine and Law & Politics Media named Mr. Molberg one of the state's 500 "super lawyers," considering all fields of practice, and one of the top 100 of that group in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. In Employment Litigation, he is one of only 18 lawyers on both sides of the Bar in Dallas. On at least five occasions, federal judges have, in their written opinions, noted Mr. Molberg’s knowledge and skill as a lawyer. Mr. Molberg has tried numerous cases, including class actions, involving race, sex, age, disability and national origin discrimination, sexual harassment, employment contract breaches, Family & Medical Leave Act violations, whistleblower claims, retaliation, minimum wage and overtime compensation, sexual assault and molestation, civil rights and election law. In addition, he has tried or otherwise handled hundreds of personal injury matters involving workers’ compensation, wrongful death, negligence, products liability and intentional wrongdoing. He has recovered millions for those injured by sexual harassment, workplace discrimination and abusive or negligent conduct. Mr. Molberg is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth and Eleventh U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals, various United States District Courts, and all Texas courts, including the Texas Supreme Court, where he has appeared at oral argument on several occasions. He has authored many legal articles, including a chapter of a book published by the State Bar of Texas, and frequently speaks to a variety of groups on topics involving employment and labor law. Mr. Molberg is the former Chairman of the Dallas County Democratic Party and he currently serves as the senior member of the State Democratic Executive Committee, where he chairs the subcommittee on Rules. John B. Wilson is a legal legend in the trial community. Retired from active practice for several years, he now serves in an "of counsel" capacity to WWM. Mr. Wilson is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the field of personal injury trial law, and he enjoys an "a.v." rating from Martindale-Hubbell. During his active legal career, he was known as a relentless advocate of his clients’ interests and for his persuasive courtroom manner. He was a member of numerous legal organizations, associations and committees. In 1990 he was the recipient of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association's coveted "War Horse Award." He was given a similar award by the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association in 1991. |
